 Re: WHY
This is my kind of model making :- http://videos.streetfire.net/video/Scaled-down-mini-working_76187.htmI especially love the blower one One day... Its a kit you buy and build yourself but you need machines to build it. One day...

 Re: WHY
haha i build them lol - ive always built airfix kits though - i also build the real thing so theres a good balance lol i have them displayed in a display case in my front room - great to look at if you dont have a garage or cant afford all the real deal bikes you want - mine are mainly the oldskool race bikes - barry sheenes rgb's kenny roberts ow48 - the bikes im never gunna own etc - theyre as addictive as building the real thing but not as costly

 Re: WHY
This is my attempt at model making, I built this early 1990's It is built from scratch, the only ready made parts on it are the pressure gauge and the bioler feed injectors It runs on coal and will haul around 20 people round a track. Its about as oldskool as you can get (apart from the electronic speedo from a bicycle) Drivers view I know it needs a good clean

 Re: WHY
Nice one especially as it actually goes! Did you have to get the boiler cert'd and all that nonsense that goes alongside with playing with hot water boilers on the 1:1 scale ones?
